Good Company
This is a Turkish proverb. Often many of us feel journey to be tiresome, boring. But with good people, the journey called life shall be more colorful and less boring. Some can find good company easily, for others they need to find hard. In either case, reciprocation of attention, giving time for each other, caring for each other, judging less and understanding more, makes relationship strong. With the right people, even big tasks feel easy due to their supportive and positive nature. In bad company, the experience is the opposite. Good company boosts our confidence, provides support, offers new perspectives, and builds resilience, reminding us of we’re not alone in tough times. Good company doesn’t have to be a specific person from our family, friends, colleagues, or even the same age or gender. It can also be oneself. Fortunate is those who understand the value of good company and work on being good company to themselves, instead of seeking it from others.
