The Three Circles of Life
Here is a wonderful concept I came across. I would like you all too know this. In principle we have 3 circles in our life, which deals with most of the things we wish or see or feel or find or accomplish, also shows what is the simplest way to have happiness or peace in life.
The Circle of Control: Also, can be remembered as the ‘I’ circle. It’s a circle which is in your full control and deals only with yourself. To List what belongs into this circle is too exhaustive. It is different for different people. Try to place here the situations/things/actions/feelings etc. which you fully own and can be improved by you. Work on them one at a time, even if you are not doing it currently! E.g., Food, Sleep, Activities, Discipline, Emotions, Mindset etc.
The Circle of Influence: Also, can be remembered as the ‘We’ circle. It’s a circle which you can’t fully control but which you can still influence. It deals with others but mostly people we love or we work with. We can explain them our point of view, but it’s mostly up to them to realize them into practice. You can’t guarantee the outcome will be always the way you want it to be. E.g., Relationships, Conversation, Vibes, Moods, Collaboration, Processes, Games, Bonding, etc.
The Circle of Concern: Also, can be remembered as the ‘They’ circle. It’s a “circle of no control or no influence”. It deals with others but mostly people we know by name, they can impact your day to day being, but you can’t do much to change it to the way you want it to be. You have to accept the fact and try to find ways and means to change the related entries in the first circle if possible, or may be in second one. Only point here is to try do something in our power to find peace within ourselves. E.g., Others' opinions, how others treat you, Climate, Global warming, Politics, Traffic, Sports, Pandemics, Natural calamities, social media, Stock Market etc.
